Manchester United are aiming for glory once again—and this time, the ambition comes directly from the top.
In a powerful statement about the club’s direction, CEO Omar Berrada has revealed a bold long-term target: winning the Premier League title by 2028.
"It's about establishing a series of targets within a timeframe so we can focus our efforts and energy on that goal," Berrada explained.
It’s a refreshing message of intent. After a difficult season that saw United slump to a 15th-place finish, many fans feared the rebuild could take years. But Berrada insists that aiming for the very top is the only way forward.
"Can the team win the Premier League title by 2028? Of course. We've just finished 15th, and it seems an impossible task. But why not aim for it?"
The task won’t be easy, but Manchester United’s leadership is determined to transform the club’s fortunes. With clear goals, renewed energy, and belief, Old Trafford could yet witness another Premier League title celebration before the decade is out.
Fans have waited long enough for the "21". Could 2028 be the year United finally reclaim their crown?
